About

Riverside Miniature Railway Club is a model engineering and miniature railway club, operating as an inclusive, sustainable, community railway project.
The railway opens to the public on Sunday afternoons throughout the summer season from Easter to October and Wednesday’s throughout the Cambridgeshire school summer holiday. Other dates may be added dependent on membership availability.
(The RMRC reserves the right to cancel operating sessions at any time)
The railway has a carriage, Access-i-belle, which is primarily for the use of passengers using wheelchairs or other mobility enabling devices.
Our railway operates in a public park and visitors to our site are advised that they do so at their own risk. Our trains are run at low speed for safety, but dogs should be kept under control and young children should be supervised at all times. Small dogs are welcome to  travel on the train, but they must be held or able to sit on the carriage. All dogs must be on a lead.
Riverside Miniature Railway is being constructed as a ground level combined 5″ and 7 1/4″ gauge railway with a minimum mainline track radius of 60 feet.
Both standard gauge and narrow gauge locomotives are represented and visitors are welcome to bring locomotives along, by prior arrangement. Please use the contact details on this website to book yourself and your locomotive. All visiting locomotives must have valid insurance certificates and boiler certificates if steam powered.
Please respect our environment and remove all litter before leaving the railway.
